This 2012 classic design silver dollar is minted
in pure silver with gold plating in proof finish. This coin is taken
from the 2012 fine silver proof set. The coin is double dated on the reverse. Surrounding the design are 200 beads to symbolize the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812. The design includes three people who approach the invader with a unity of purpose to defend the colony: a British sergeant, a Voltigeur Canadian and an Iroquois warrior. This silver dollar was minted in pure silver and is selectively gold plated. It is 36.07 mm in diameter and weighs 23.17 grams. It is protected in a 2 x 2 cardboard holder. No certificate. No case.
