AUDIO-PROFILE
Die zwei verschiedenen Klangmodi "Wide" und "Focus" ermöglichen es dem KATCH ONE, mit der größten Auswahl an Filmen, Dokumentationen, Nachrichten und Musik zu performen. "Focus" bietet eine fokussierte und sehr lineare Audiowiedergabe, während "Wide" eine breite, beeindruckende und sehr dynamische Audiowiedergabe bietet - für ein raumfüllendes, überraschend leistungsstarkes Erlebnis.
FLEXIBILITÄT
Der DALI - KATCH ONE bietet eine breite Palette an Anschlüssen, darunter Anschluss Ihres Fernsehgeräts, Smartphones / Tablets (Bluetooth & Mini Jack), CD-Players, Audio-Streamers, Subwoofers oder Stromversorgung Ihres Amazon Echo oder Google Chromecast über USB.
DESIGN
Die Soundbar KATCH ONE verfügt über ein abgerundetes Gehäuse und ist in zwei verschiedenen Farbausführungen erhältlich. Es befinden sich auch Lederriemen im Lieferumfang beim KATCH ONE, um den außergewöhnlichen Lautsprecher auf elegeante Weise an die Wand hängen zu können.
ANSCHLÜSSE
Das Übertragen von Musik zum DALI - KATCH ONE erfolgt entweder über eine kabellose Bluetooth-Verbindung oder per Kabel. Die KATCH ONE Soundbar nutzt das Bluetooth-Protokoll 5.0 und verbindet sich mit Apple-Portables per AAC-Codec. Alternativ verfügt der KATCH ONE zudem über HDMI- und optische Digitaleingänge.
Achtung: DALI - KATCH ONE ist auch in weißer (= "Ivory White") Ausführung erhältlich.
Fernsehbildschirme werden immer flacher, und das betrifft leider auch die Klangqualität. Das Hinzufügen einer externen Soundbar ist also eine sinnvolle Lösung, um den Klang Ihres TV-Geräts zu verbessern. Eine Soundbar zu finden, die sowohl hervorragenden Sound als auch ein außergewöhnliches Design bietet, ist jedoch nicht ganz so einfach.
Die DALI - KATCH ONE kombiniert eine überragende HiFi-Klangqualität mit einem frischen, frechen Look Mit zehn (!) integrierten Lautsprecherchassis versetzt die KATCH ONE eine große Menge Luft in Bewegung. Ein Verstärker mit üppigen 4 x 50 Watt Ausgangsleistung erzeugt auch in größeren Wohnzimmern den für ein eindrucksvolles TV- oder Heimkino-Erlebnis erforderlichen Schalldruck.
Design
Die Bespannung des KATCH ONE wurde wegen ihrer sehr guten akustischen Eigenschaften ausgewählt, die sicherstellen, dass der Klang durchschlüpft, ohne Energie und Details zu verlieren. Neben seinem eleganten Aussehen trägt der Stoff auch dazu bei, dass sich der KATCH ONE problemlos in die Einrichtung des Raumes einfügen lässt.
Ein wichtiger Teil der visuellen Gestaltung sind die drei Aufstellungsmöglichkeiten des KATCH ONE:
- Zum einen lässt sich die Soundbar mittels zweier Lederbänder auf elegante Weise an die Wand hängen. Die Anschlusskabel sind hierbei unsichtbar hinter dem Lautsprecher verborgen.
- Mit den in der Rückseite eingelassenen Schlüssellochhalterungen können Sie den KATCH ONE auch bei beengten Platzverhältnissen bequem an die Wand hängen.
- Die Platzierung des KATCH ONE auf einem Regal oder auf einem Sideboard ist mit den mitgelieferten Echtholzfüßen möglich. Diese Füße passen perfekt zum Gesamtbild des KATCH ONE und entkoppeln die Soundbar von der Auflagefläche, wodurch unerwünschte Vibrationen minimiert werden und der KATCH ONE einen leichteren, schwebenden Look erhält.
Gehäuse
Sowohl das Gehäuse als auch die vordere Schallwand des KATCH ONE sind aus einer glasfaserverstärkten ABS-Mischung geformt. Dieses Material bietet den Chassis beste Arbeitsbedingungen mit einem optimierten Luftstrom, einem breiten Stereopanorama und einem auf die Zuhörer gerichteten Klangbild. ABS bildet die Grundlage für eine extrem steife Struktur, bei der durch die Bewegung der Treiber keine unerwünschten Resonanzen innerhalb der Gehäusekonstruktion auftreten, die zu einer Verzerrung des Audiosignals führen könnten.
Alle Ein- und Ausgänge befinden sich auf der Rückseite des Gehäuses in einer Vertiefung. So sind die Stecker nicht zu sehen und es besteht ein einfacher Zugang zu den Kabeln, um sie wahlweise nach oben oder unten aus dem Gehäuse heraus zu führen.
Sowohl das feste Gitter auf der Rückseite des KATCH ONE als auch die Frontwand verfügen über eingebaute Luftstromführungen für eine optimale Abstrahlung des Audiosignals. Da die Tieftöner sowohl auf der Vorder- als auch auf der Rückseite des KATCH ONE angebracht sind, ist die Steuerung und Optimierung des Luftstroms sehr wichtig. Die hinteren Tieftöner sind so konzipiert, dass sie die Wand für die gleichmäßige Abstrahlung der tiefen Frequenzen nutzen. Genauso sind die vorderen Tieftöner in der Schallwand von einer Schallführung umgeben, damit der Schall optimal abgestrahlt wird.
Anschlüsse
Fünf verschiedene Audioeingänge ermöglichen den Anschluss des KATCH ONE an jede Audioquelle – einschließlich kabellosen Streamings von Ihrem Smartphone oder Tablet. Allein für die Verbindung mit Ihrem TV-Gerät stehen vier Alternativen bereit. Darüber hinaus verfügt der KATCH ONE über eine automatische Signalerkennung an allen Eingängen und schaltet sich beim Einschalten Ihres Fernsehers oder Ihrer Audioquelle automatisch ein.
HDMI: Der HDMI-Eingang (ARC) am KATCH ONE ist ein reiner Audioeingang. Der HDMI-Anschluss unterstützt die Verwendung der TV-Fernbedienung zur Einstellung von Lautstärke, Stummschaltung und Ein- und Ausschalten.
2 OPTISCHE DIGITALEINGÄNGE: Die automatische Einschaltfunktion für den dedizierten TV-Eingang wird durch den optischen Ausgang des Fernsehers aktiviert. Dadurch ist gewährleistet, dass der KATCH ONE eingeschaltet und betriebsbereit ist, sobald der Fernseher eingeschaltet ist. Der zweite optische Eingang ist für den Anschluss von Audiogeräten wie CD-Spielern und Musikstreamern vorgesehen. Dieser Eingang ermöglicht das automatische Ein- und Ausschalten basierend auf dem Audiosignal - wodurch die Automatik auch dann funktioniert, wenn das Audiogerät das Trägersignal im Standby-Modus nicht ausschaltet.
BLUETOOTH: Der KATCH ONE unterstützt Bluetooth AAC und aptX und ermöglicht so ein absolut kabelloses Musik-Streaming von Ihrem Handy, Tablet und anderen Bluetooth-Quellen.
ANALOGEINGANG: Der Stereo-Mini-Klinkeneingang am KATCH ONE ermöglicht eine analoge Verbindung zu Ihrem Fernseher, Telefon, Tablet oder PC.
SUBWOOFERAUSGANG: Bei einem Anschluss eines Subwoofers werden alle tiefen Basssignale vom DSP direkt an den Subwooferausgang geleitet. Dadurch wird der KATCH ONE von der Wiedergabe tiefer Frequenzen entlastet, so dass er noch sauberer und lauter spielen kann.
USB SERVICE/POWER: Der eingebaute USB-Anschluss kann Ihr Tablet oder Google Chromecast Audio (CCA) mit Strom versorgen, ermöglicht aber keine Musikwiedergabe. Die Verwendung eines CCA ermöglicht es dem KATCH ONE, sich mit Ihrem Heimnetzwerk zu verbinden und so Zugriff auf zahlreiche Streaming-Dienste zu erhalten.
Lautsprecherchassis
Der KATCH ONE verfügt über nicht weniger als 10 eingebaute Lautsprecherchassis, die perfekt auf den leistungsstarken 4 x 50 W-Verstärker abgestimmt sind und für eine kraftvolle und ausgewogene Wiedergabe sowohl von Filmsoundtracks als auch jeder Art von Musik sorgen.
Sechs Chassis werden direkt vom Verstärker angesteuert, vier dienen als zusätzliche, passiv angeregte Membranfläche für eine dynamischere und tiefere Basswiedergabe.
Hochtöner
Die 21 mm großen, ultraleichte Kalottenhochtöner sind zwar extrem kompakt, ihre große Membranfläche stellt aber sicher, dass der Übertragungsbereich der Chassis bis weit in die mittleren Frequenzregionen reicht. Starke Neodym-Magneten gewährleisten eine hohe Belastbarkeit und einen guten Wirkungsgrad.
Tieftöner
Diese eigens entwickelten Chassis arbeiten mit einer invertierten Membran und einer speziellen Membranaufhängung. Dadurch verfügen die besonders flachen Tieftöner über eine ähnliche maximale Auslenkung wie ein gleichgroßer traditioneller Tieftöner. Auf diese Weise bietet der KATCH ONE eine kräftige Tieftonwiedergabe, ohne dass der DSP die Basspegel unnatürlich verstärken muss.
Passiv-Radiatoren
Die vier großen Passivmembranen sind perfekt auf die vier aktiven Tieftöner abgestimmt und liefern eine überraschend kraftvolle Basswiedergabe insbesondere beim Betrachten von Filmen. Ihre Power reicht aus, auch größere Wohnzimmer überzeugend zu beschallen. Für eine noch intensivere Basswiedergabe lässt sich zudem ein separater aktiver Subwoofer anschließen.
Performance (Leistungsvermögen)
Den KATCH ONE steuern 4 x 50-Watt-Spitzenverstärker der Klasse D mit geschlossenem Regelkreis. Mithilfe von DSP für die aktive Frequenzweiche werden die Verstärker direkt mit den Treibern verbunden, um die Leistung zu maximieren.
Das niedrige Signal-Rausch-Verhältnis (100 dB) des Verstärkermoduls sorgt dafür, dass auch kleinste Details in einem leisen Durchgang klar und unverzerrt an die Fahrer weitergegeben werden.
Die Speisung des Verstärkers erfolgt über ein 200-Watt-Schaltnetzteil mit reichlich Leistung, um vom Konzert bis zur Explosion alles zu bewältigen. Das Dual-Transformator-Design stellt sicher, dass die Standby-Leistung sehr niedrig gehalten wird und immer genügend Headroom für die Leistungsanforderungen der Verstärker zur Verfügung steht.
Der KATCH ONE bietet zwei verschiedene Klangmodi: Weitwinkel und Fokus. Sie sind so konzipiert, dass der KATCH ONE mit der größten Auswahl an Filmen, Dokumentationen, Nachrichten und Musik auftreten kann.
Die erste Einstellung bietet eine fokussierte und sehr lineare Audiowiedergabe, die dazu dient, den oft schwer fassbaren mittleren Frequenzbereich herauszuarbeiten.

FLEXIBILITY
The DALI - KATCH ONE offers a wide range of connections, which include connecting your TV, smartphone/tablet (Bluetooth & mini jack), CD player, audio streamer, a subwoofer or supplying power for your Amazon Echo or Google Chromecast via USB.
DESIGN
The soundbar KATCH ONE has a rounded housing and is available in two different colour versions. There are also leather straps included with the KATCH ONE to hang the extraordinary speaker on the wall in an elegant way.
CONNECTIONS
Transferring music to the DALI - KATCH ONE is either done via a Bluetooth wireless connection or by cable. The KATCH ONE soundbar uses the Bluetooth protocol 5.0 and connects to Apple portables via AAC codec. Alternatively, the KATCH ONE also has HDMI and optical digital inputs.

Design
The front fabric for the KATCH ONE is picked for its very good acoustical properties, ensuring that the sound slips through without losing energy or details. Besides adding to the look and feel of the KATCH ONE, the fabric also helps the KATCH ONE fit in with the rest of the room.
An important part of the visual design is the three stylish mounting solutions that ensures the KATCH ONE has a look for everybody.
Featuring a chic, compact design, the wall-mounted leather strap truly completes the look and feel of the KATCH ONE. This solution elegantly hides the cables running from the TV to the KATCH ONE, keeping everything tidy, while the fabric front’s excellent acoustic properties ensure no audio detail is lost.
If space is tight the keyhole mount on the rear of the KATCH ONE is the perfect solution.
Placing the KATCH ONE on a shelf or on top of furniture is also possible with the use of the supplied real wood feet. These feet match the overall look and feel of the KATCH ONE, and serve to decouple the KATCH ONE from the placement surface, thereby limiting unwanted vibrations and elevating the KATCH ONE to give it a lighter look.
Cabinet
Both the casing and the front baffle of the KATCH ONE are moulded from a glass fibre reinforced ABS compound. This material enables us to construct a platform for the drivers that optimises the flow of air, widens the stereo image, and guides the sound towards the listener. This forms the base for an extremely rigid structure that ensures that the movement of the drivers does not cause unwanted resonances in the cabinet structure that could result in distortion of the audio signal.
All of the available inputs and outputs are placed on the rear of the cabinet in a connection bay that hides the plugs from view, and gives easy access to the cable management system along the top back of the KATCH ONE. It is possible to have the connected cables run either up or down from the connection bay, depending on the type of placement chosen.
Both the fixed grille on the rear of the KATCH ONE and the front baffle have built-in air-flow guides to optimise the spread of the audio signal. With woofers placed both on the front and the back of the unit, directing and optimising the flow of air becomes very important. The rear woofers are designed to integrate with the wall to expand the bass performance, also utilising the wall to widen the stereo image. In the same way, the front woofers are placed on the front baffle surrounded by a wave guide that helps control and aid the air flow for optimised dispersion.
Connections
With five different audio inputs, the KATCH ONE will connect to any audio device. This includes four ways to connect to your TV. Not to mention the ample possibilities to connect music streaming devices. Furthermore the KATCH ONE has auto signal detect on all inputs and automatically powers on, when turning on your TV or audio source.
HDMI: The HDMI input (ARC) on the KATCH ONE is an audio only input. The HDMI connection supports the use of the TV remote control to adjust the volume, mute and power on/off.
2 x OPTICAL IN: The auto power-on function for the dedicated TV input is activated by the optical output from the TV. This ensures that the KATCH ONE is on and ready as soon as the TV is on. The second optical input is designed for use with audio devices such as CD players and audio streamers. This input enables auto power on/off based on the audio signal - even if the carrier does not turn off the carrier light in standby mode.
BLUETOOTH: KATCH ONE offers Bluetooth AAC and aptX - allowing for easy music streaming from your phone, tablet or even your TV, creating a completely wireless solution.
ANALOGUE IN: The stereo mini-jack input on the KATCH ONE allows for a analogue connection to your TV, phone, tablet or PC.
SUB OUT: Connecting a subwoofer is easy and rewarding. It sends all deep bass directly to the SUB Out by the DSP. This leaves the amplifier more headroom, allowing the KATCH ONE to extend even further up the volume scale.
USB SERVICE/POWER: The built-in USB port is able to power your tablet or Google Chromecast Audio (CCA), but does not allow for music playback. Using a CCA allows the KATCH ONE to connect to you home network adding a world of streaming services.
Drivers
The KATCH ONE features no fewer than 10 built-in drivers, perfectly matched with a powerful 4 x 50 Watts amplifier, ensuring that movie soundtracks and dialogue are always sweepingly dynamic, crisp and clear, and music is beautifully balanced.
The four large passive drivers work in unison with the four active woofers to help deliver surprising bass performance for the perfect movie experience. With the power to deliver the audio pressure needed even in bigger living rooms. Should the room demand even more bass performance, a subwoofer can extend the deep bass even further.
Completing the package are the two 21 mm ultra-light weight soft dome tweeters, truly bringing the high-end and upper mid-range to life. Together, the 6 active and 4 passive drivers render a clean, detailed and coherent audio signal, rarely experienced in a Soundbar.
Tweeter
The 21 mm ultra-light weight soft dome tweeter is extremely compact, but retains a large membrane area, which ensures that it will reach deep down into the mid-range frequency areas without any break up or drop off’s. The strong neodymium magnet delivers high power handling and a high sensitivity to the soft dome tweeter, thereby bringing detail, accuracy and speed to the high frequencies.
Woofer
By using a specially designed chassis, an inverted membrane and special spider suspension, we've created a shallow woofer with the same maximum excursion as a similar sized traditional woofer. Every millimetre gained in internal depth is turned into true low-frequency reproduction, letting the woofer generate bass with as little help from the DSP as possible.
Passive Radiators

Performance
Driving the KATCH ONE are 4 x 50 watts peak, closed loop class D amplifiers. Utilising DSP for the active crossover, the amplifiers are directly connected to the drivers, maximising the performance.
The low signal-to-noise ratio (100 dB) of the amplifier module ensures that even the smallest detail in a quiet passage is passed on to the drivers, clear and undistorted.
Feeding the amplifier is a 200 watts peak switch mode power supply, with ample power delivery to handle everything from a concert to a powerful explosion. The dual transformer design ensures that the standby power is kept very low, and headroom to handle the power requirements of the amplifiers is always available.
The KATCH ONE offers two different sound modes: Wide and Focus. They are designed to let the KATCH ONE perform with the widest selection of movies, documentaries, news and music.
The first setting offers a focused and very linear audio reproduction that serves to draw out the often elusive mid-range frequency area.
The other setting offers a wide, impressive and very dynamic audio rendering. This sound mode puts the emphasis on bringing a room filling, surprisingly powerful experience. Both sound modes deliver perfectly on the main goals of a high-quality soundbar - improving the TV experience through great sound.
