This is a vintage 1966 Mosrite Joe Maphis Mark XII with a Natural finish. Mosrite had a long relationship with Joe Maphis, a country guitarist known for his flashy, virtuosic style. Maphis was eventually given his own model, which has a lot in common with the Mosrite "Combo", but instead has no F-holes. This 12-string version is semi-hollow, and streamlines the model a bit further, subbing the ubiquitous Mosrite vibrato system with a fixed tailpiece. It has the famous, comfortable, thin Mosrite neck profile, with fast, fretless wonder-like frets. It's in great shape, with expected nicks and dings here and there. And aside from a small binding patch, it is all original. It is super resonant, easy to play, and sounds great! Lucky, early serial #J007!

It has been professionally setup and comes with an Epiphone Hardshell case.
