1766 4th edition,  original leather bindings,  both with large ex libris bookplates for John Baker Holroyd 1st Earl of Sheffield.

A scarce early edition in good condition,  original full calf bindings with raised bands to spine,  gilt decoration and red title labels.

Some rubbing to covers and loss to board edges,  front hinges beginning to split but holding well,  small loss to top of spine cover on Vol. II.  Later owners' names neatly in ink,  pages tanned with age marks in places,  short tear to front free paper Vol. II.
