This is a vintage "Mickey Mantle" "H. & B. Hillerich & Bradsby Co" baseball bat from the 1960's(?) that is approximately 29" long. The "Mick" was one of the very best New York Yankees of all time & he was a very productive & popular player & fan favorite among all Major League Baseball fans during his entire baseball career. What a great gift this would be for an avid Mickey Mantle fan while the Yanks are trying to get into the World Series. There are numerous markings including "Mickey Mantle", "H. & B. 77J", "Team Leader", & "Junior League". The markings are faint but readable & the bat is in vintage used condition with scuffs, nicks, paint loss, wood splits on the barrel end, matching side chips on the knob & normal natural patina associated with age & use. Being a Mickey Mantle bat it's still a very nice collectible vintage wooden baseball bat from the 1960's from a player who was the most famous & popular switch hitter of all time. it would make a great display piece for your collection. My price reflects both the condition of the bat but also the player whose name is on it. In baseball collectibles Mickey Mantle is "gold".
