Wiring Harness for Telecaster “Greasebucket” Type Setup – 3-Way Switch, CTS, Switchcraft, Mallory  Caps

Very Good Quality Parts:

Wiring Diagram Included

The Greasebucket tone control rolls off the highs and lows in your guitar while preventing your tone from getting muddy.  1966 Setup gives you the standard "modern" telecaster modes:

This is a less costly Greasebucket wiring harness, still using quality parts.  This one will be a bit warmer than my other Greasebucket harnesses, using 250K pots in the 225K to 235K range, but still within the 10% ± spec.  The Mallory caps are quite accurate and durable.  The switch is in the Oak Grigsby style – it’s not an Oak Grigsby, but I’ve checked them out and they seem pretty comparable and well made.

This Wiring Harness is drop in ready for your Tele build or upgrade.  Pots have ground to each other so this may be used with a non-conductive control plate.  Harness will be shipped on a hard card for protection.

My harnesses are well made with top-notch components – CTS Pots; Oak Grigsby, CRL, & MojoTone Switches; NOS Paper in Oil, Wax Paper, & Sprague Orange Drop Caps; Switchcraft Jacks; Gavitt 22 Gauge Wiring; NOS Allen Bradley Resistors.
