Manufacturing process
Each clock starts with an original vintage vinyl record , which is carefully handcrafted into just the label area ,
by removing the playing section of the record . A brand new high quality quartz time movement is then added
with every record centre pre-coated in a specially adapted clear lacquer for total protection . Each quartz clock movement is manufactured to the highest quality , UK sourced , and fitted with extensively tested plastic hands designed to prevent accidental damage . The timing movement is a silent sweep style , avoiding any unnecessary ticking !!
Each individual clock is a super quality , luxury gift , and is supplied in a choice of presentation box .
A Plain presentation box is the default supply , however for these items , you can request a cream and gold
"Birthday" enblazened box should you prefer , at no extra cost (whilst stocks last)
Please note , although great care and consideration is taken in the selection of all the original singles we use ,
some labels , dependent upon Artist & rarity will occasionally show signs of light wear , marks or discolouration
& very very occasionally small , discreet writings , as most of these records are over 40+ years old .
These quirks , we feel , add to the authenticity of each item and show their retro appeal .
