This listing is for a 2023 $50 35th anniversary of the SML - a 5 ounce coin minted in pure silver.  The coin weighs 157.6 grams and is 65.25 mm in diameter.  The coin is double dated on the obverse with the special "Transition obverse".  For the year 2023 there is not a Queen effigy with the 2023 date on it.  Instead the 1952-2022 double date is being used to recognize Queen Elizabeth's 70 year reign.  Additionally, the four dots in the date symbolize her 70 reign and the 4 different effigies used on our coins in that time. It is minted to the standard of 99.99% purity!!      The obverse has the image of the Queen (by Susanna Blunt).  A uniquely numbered certificate is included.
