How a Radiator Coolant Overflow Tank Works??
- Fill the tank with coolant when the cooling system pressure is too high, and remove the coolant from the tank when the system pressure is too low.
- Coolant is transferred back and forth between the tank and the cooling system depending on the pressure.
Before replacement, it must be ensured that the engine has cooled down completely
Disassembly steps??
1. Drain the coolant
2. Remove the middle plenum water baffle
3. Remove the opening cover of the extension plate on the instrument panel
4. Remove the engine coolant vent hose and remove the clamp.
5. Remove the radiator reservoir engine hose and remove the clamp.
6. Remove the radiator reservoir clip
7. Disconnect the coolant sensor harness
Take care to loosen the radiator reservoir from the bracket
8. Remove the radiator reservoir
installation steps??
1. Install the new radiator reservoir
2. Connect the wiring harness of the coolant level sensor
Take care to clamp the radiator reservoir to the bracket
3. Install the radiator reservoir clip
4. Install the radiator reservoir engine hose and install the clamp
5. Install the engine coolant exhaust hose and install the clamp
6. Install the opening cover of the extension plate on the instrument panel
7 Install the water baffle of the intermediate integration chamber
8. Add coolant
