Here is a very attractive and very scarce antique Wedgwood majolica plate with design of seashells and coral on a basketweave background. Plate measures about 8 13/16" in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is some very fine allover crazing with some very minimal darkening of craze lines in places. There is some minimal light brownish discoloration on the underside. There is a minor light brownish smudge on underside. The plate appears to have had little or no use. There are a very few very light surface marks visible only on very close examination. Overall a really fine example. Marked with impressed "Wedgwood" mark as well as other numbers and letters.  Please see photos.
