The beautiful smooth Hoop Pine has been flame burnished and enhanced with a high quality Mahogany stain. Several layers of timber protectant have been applied to produce a deep, high gloss finish. Note how the burnished areas pop and accentuate the intricate grain patterns.

I only make a few flame burnished patterns within each batch. This are unique and rare. Grab them whilst they are are available.

The rugged, simple and practical All-In-One Australian Slouch Hat Press and Carrier has been primarily designed to store, press, protect and carry the Grade One and Two Slouch hat. 

The press maintains even and distributed pressure on the brim ensuring it is dead straight and flat. This allows the hat to be removed from the press and worn immediately in parade ready pristine condition.

The sturdy and robust construction of the carrier protects the slouch hat in transit, at home, in barracks or wherever else in the world you find yourself deployed. 

My personal Slouch Hat Press and Carrier is still going strong after 20+ years. What other product can do that?

Leave it in your car for a convenient storage option to and from work. When in transit, store it within a suitcase/dive bag or as carry-on luggage.

It can also be used to store and protect any other hat with a brim circumference of up to 40 cm.

Don't purchase inferior items. Other hat carriers on the market are flimsy (some are made from vinyl coated cardboard), don't provide distributed pressure on the brim and are over-priced.

•      Made from robust 12 mm ply which extends to 24 mm at the press.

·            The press maintains even and distributed pressure on the brim ensuring it is dead straight and flat. This allows the hat to be removed from the press and worn immediately in parade-ready pristine condition.   

•      Facilitates the pugaree and hat badge to remain attached to the hat whilst in the press/carrier.

•      Fits in issued dive bag and most suitcases.

•      All surfaces have been sanded and corners rounded to protect contents and the internals of a suitcase/dive bag.

•      Exterior has been coated with polyurethane timber protector.

·                 Interior of the press has been sanded and cleaned and remains in a raw condition to ensure absolutely no chemicals are in contact with the brim whilst in the press.

•      The wood construction allows the All-In-One Australian Slouch Hat Press and Carrier to mounted to a wall or door.

•      The in-built hand grip can also facilitate hanging from a hat rack.
•      We recommend the use of furniture polish to maintain the high gloss finish.
