Seal Gut Material: The intestine is cleaned thoroughly and stretched to dry. It is split lengthwise to produce strips that are used to embellish basketry.

Sea Grass: collected near the Pacific Northwest Coast of Alaska

The basket has a striking pattern of floating crosses and diamonds. It is in awesome condition for age, very solid. Will make a prized addition to any basketry collection. This Yupik coil basket is a true treasure.
