Limited Edition Stephen King as Richard Bachman: The Regulators, Signed, #0395 of 500 signed and numbered copies

This collectable edition comes in a specially made "toy" box. According to George Beahm (2000), Peter Schneider was the principle architect for this edition, aided by Joe Stefko (of Charnel House). Schneider brought up the matter of the signature. SK responded: "Bachman was dead, so how could he sign books?" The solution was elegantly simple: Insert dummy checks signed by the writer, which in Bachman's case meant SK as Richard Bachman.

The check number is 0395 written to Jim Charlton for $100.00. Memo: Ms. for Bred Any Good Books. Signed by Stephen King as Richard Bachman.
