Here is a 1929 $20 Federal Reserve Bank Note. It is from the Minneapolis district and has been graded by PCGS as Very Fine 35PPQ. It is a star note on Minneapolis, which is much harder to get than the non-star variety. There are only 28 known to exist.
During the depression Roosevelt ordered a bank holiday and shut down the banks for a day. At that time the BEP used paper that was slated to print nationals and printed Federal Reserve Bank notes in a hurry. This is one of those emergency notes.
Shipping
Shipping will be done by USPS Priority mail. This usually takes 2 to 3 days to arrive for the majority of the US. Your note will be shipped within 2 business days from the end of the auction. Usually notes are shipped the next day, but sometimes I am traveling and unable to get items mailed.
