Dragon Armor Panther G with Steel Road Wheels - Special Eilendorf Version

Model. No. 60322, Vintage - 2007, Scale - 1:72

Unit - Panzer Regiment 24

Campaign - Stolberg Corridor - Germany 1944 - fighting against the 16th Infantry Regiment from 16-18, 1944.

The Panther was a very successful tank when utilized in long-range frontal combat but was much more vulnerable in close quarter fighting (such as typified the Ardennes/Bulge campaign). This is a nicely detailed model and popular despite its rarity.

Markings - Dark green, dark brown and sand/tan camouflage with spots. Has extra track armor and tow cables on lower hull.

Model - Panther F - later in the war, tank wheels were made out of steel rather than rubber given the short supply of rubber and need for its use in other more critical areas.

Condition - New with minor wear on cardboard box.
