Alessi double wall fruit bowl, D'Urbino-Lomazzi Stainless Steel, Brand NEW

This double polished steel bowl plays with volume and reflections. The splendid, simple design of this bowl made by Urbino and Lomazzi is a result of a perfect technique of the brand Alessi. An extremely beautiful object! The double-wall technique allows the creation of objects that are hollow inside and therefore very light despite their volume, as in this elegant and formal study of the simplicity of the bowl archetype. The Designer

Both born in Milan in the late 30s, they started working together in 1966 with Jonathan De Pas, experimenting with materials and technologies to create design works oriented towards mass production and creating some of the great icons of Italian design, from the Blow armchair to the Sciangai clothes rack.
