For your consideration is a very nice antique closet mortise door latch with thumb turn, 12 point crystal glass knob, and brass roses manufactured by P.F. Corbin in New Britain in the early 1900's.  The latch is # 045 as shown in the 1905 Corbin hardware trade catalog.  The glass knob is in very good condition with some negligible flea bites.  The mortise latch is in very good functional condition with minimal wear and operates smoothly.  Dimensions are as follows: Face plate: 3-1/2 x 15/16", Distance between the face and center-of-hub (set back): 2-1/4".  Please look at the pictures carefully as they are considered part of the description.  Make sure to ask questions before you bid.  Thanks for looking.
