Original vintage signed painting on canvas

There is a boy in a brown sweater , blue knee socks, tan pants, brown shoes, brown hat. There is a tan colored dog at his feet looking at the birds. The boy is opening the metal mailbox that has its flag up. The mailbox is taller than the boy and has a bird in a birds nest in it. There is also a bird perched on top looking down at the boy. There are yellow coneflowers around the bottom of the mailbox.

Painting is signed by Tracy. It is in a vintage wood frame. There is wearing of the gold paint/gilt that is on the inner edge of frame. There is documentation written on paper bag that is taped onto the back of the frame that says it was a gift from Tracy in 1975, and has a small flower drawn in red & blue on the back. It has a screwed in wire picture hanger.
