These 120V bulbs are new old stock, in working condition and have been dc tested with an Ohmmeter.
They were originally used in series with a diode for half-wave rectification of 240V ac mains, to give approximately 300W equivalent power to the Molynx IR300 CCTV infra red illuminator.
When replacing halogen bulbs the glass envelope should not be held by bare fingers, to prevent contamination and shortened bulb life.
