Vintage 1980s Sonia Rykiel wool boucle sweater in a beautiful, unusual muted green tone. Difficult to capture the color in photos.

Known as the queen of knits, Sonia Rykiel designed clothes to address the needs and the lifestyle of real women. At the time knitwear was always a thick stitch that resulted in heavy clothing and straight jackets. This cardigan is constructed from a loop stitch knit that mimics the appearance of astrakhan fur without its stiffness.

Note: the modeled photo is of the same style but a different garment! I think it’s a smaller size.

Some minor signs of wear throughout/fuzziness but overall good vintage condition.

No size tag, but fits about a size medium to large. Ptp about 21”, length about 31”.

No contents tag but this is made of wool.
