Burns Mantle covers ten plays of note that came out in the 1944-45 theatrical season.  He was considered a historian of theater.  Mantle also writes of the seasons in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Southern California.

Condition:  The book pages have no tears but there are some pencil markings on a few pages.  There is spotting on pages throughout.  There is staining on both the front and back end pages. The page edges are soiled.  Also a personal library sticker on the inside of front cover.  The hard cover is lightly worn with bumped corners.  The dust jacket is poor.  There is staining, frayed edges and tears.
