Don't know how old this is or how to describe it.
Could be Arts and Crafts/Art Nouveau.
It has a carved wood frame with Bakelite handles ( these could be taken off and then made for wall hanging picture.)
The image is veneer with inlaid swirls and mother of pearl
Glass covering the image.
I have taken it out of the frame to photo the edge of the veneer and what it is pasted too please see last photo.
