RARE EXCEPTIONAL ART-DECO PERIOD PORCELAIN BLUE & WHITE FIGURAL TABLE LAMPS

Brief Description:

This is an exceptional and extremely rare 1920s Blue and White Porcelain Figural electric table lamp depicting a Gladiator-type figurine who is fully dressed in robes whilst holding onto a hat (the bulb holder) that rests upon his head.

It is of a magnificent quality with fastidiously intricate hand-painted details in both blue and white.

Indeed, we have never encountered a lamp that looks as outstanding as this piece does.

It dates from the Art-Deco period and it is free from any previous repairs, chips or, damage.

We have personally enjoyed this lamp for the past two years but we have now decided to let it go.

Currently working but it is sold on the understanding that the new owner will have it newly rewired as the current electricity wire appears to be original to the piece.
