Very fine Sarouk Farahan rug, with subtle Ivory, Cobalt, Pale Peach, Aquamarine, Sandalwood pile, closely cropped and beautifully patinated. Superb cartoon, with Medallion and spandrel arrangement with arabesque vines and flowers. Condition is 8/10 with complete edges and secured ends. Two small repairs on the outside border, but overall a lovely antique. Perfect as a hearth rug, in the foyer, dressing room, bedroom, home office or eve on the wall. Professionally washed October 2023, and ready to show off for holidays.
