Elsener model 1

Knife made before 1897

High carbon blade signed "ELSENER SCHWYZ". This signature was used in Ibach in Switzerland by the master Carl Elsener in his former workshop, the ancestor of the Victorinox brand.

The knife is extremely rare, there are only a few examples remaining which recall the history of this brand.

All tools are fully functional, and everything is original and appears to have barely been used... See pictures
