Description
This is an experimental kit for a super unidirectional audible speaker using ultrasonic waves.
The ultrasonic carrier wave is transmitted by 50 ultrasonic transducers and modulated at a low frequency.
This is quite different from the conventional speaker concept.
Ultrasonic waves are very direct, so the sound is loudest in front of the speaker and becomes inaudible at a short distance away.
It has a character similar to that of light, and sound is severely reflected, so that if you point it at a wall, you will hear sound from the wall.
The sound can be heard from several tens of meters away from the front.
Although it is an experimental kit, it can be used for practical purposes and can be used in various places depending on your ideas.
Unfortunately, the sound quality is not HiFi, but in the voice frequency range (400Hz~5KHz).
It is best suited for use for voice announcements limited to a specific area.
