The Hundred of Eastry with the Liberty of the Town & Port of Sandwich.
from Hasted's History of Kent
1793

Very much an agrarian or marshy area. Many farms delineated with scattered forested areas.  Names such as Sandwich, Waldershare, Barfriston, Hernden, Betshanger.

See note below - this map has an extended bottom margin. It  is very frameable with some patina of age.

Many Hasted maps are severely affected by tears, mould and foxing BUT this particular map is very frameable. As the maps were folded to insert and bind into the books they often have many folds and even margins cut onto.

Size of this map is  380x420 mm plus margins. Sent in a new, strong postal tube.

One of the most sought-after Hasted maps and most online offers are at about £125 or even more.
