HVAC blower motor is made of a motor that is powered by electricity, and a fan that pushes the air around. It is responsible for sending the cold and hot air generated by the air conditioner to the car through the air outlet through the rotation of the HVAC blower motor.
If it isn’t working properly, it can significantly affect the comfort level and air quality in your car.
Weak or Absent Airflow Weak or no airflow from air vents is the most obvious sign of a bad blower motor. | The Fan Only Works at Certain Speeds A reliably operating blower motor should be able to operate at many different speeds to most efficiently send air into your cabin. | Strange Noise When You Turn on the HVAC Systems Perhaps you’ll notice a rattling or squealing noise or maybe something that sounds like screeching,or noises that change or get louder if you increase the fan speed. | Smoke or Smell of Burning While Driving In some cases, you may even notice smoke or smells of burning while driving, in which case you should pull over immediately. |
