You are considering a vintage RARE LIMITED EDITION hard cover LEATHER book, no DJ, from the FRANKLIN LIBRARY in THE 100 GREATEST MASTERPIECES of AMERICAN LITERATURE series: TWENTY YEARS AT HULL-HOUSE by JANE ADDAMS. Published in 1981 with 267 pages. Cover and spine are a rich green color tooled leather with 22K gold gilt. Spine has 3 raised bars. Has 22k gold gilting on all three sides or page edges. The end pages have a Moire silk design. Has its satin ribbon. Does have the NOTES FROM THE EDITORS booklet. Franklin Library stopped publishing books in 2000. Since that time, these books have become very collectible. The quality is excellent and beautiful! Wonderful addition to any library. This book was issued to subscribers of THE 100 GREATEST MASTERPIECES of AMERICAN LITERATURE series, under the auspices of The American Revolution Bicentennial Administration. The gold gilting is very dusty on the top edge. I have not tried to clean or brush off and don't know the condition of the gold underneath. The gilting is bright and intact on the side and bottom edges. There are no marks, tears or folds on any pages. Binding is tight and clean. A bookplate of the original owner is attached. No writing or markings.
