Hess sale to Chevron ends a nine-decade oil family epic

It was laziness that Leon Hess said pushed him into the oil game. In 1933, tired of lugging sacks of coal around New Jersey, he bought a used truck and began a heating oil delivery business. Nine decades later, his son John sold the company to Chevron for $53 bn this week, in one of the biggest deals ever in the global oil and gas industry.

The Truck is a dual axle Police Truck that’s geared up for some heavy duty tactical support. Featuring shining chrome details, the green colored truck includes white striping and logos to go along with the fully chrome front end with push bar, cab mounted emergency light bar, bumpers, fuel tanks, mirrors, wheels, and exhaust pipes. The cab top includes buttons to control the lights and sounds for the truck (horn, engine start, traditional and European emergency sirens), each sound including simultaneous flashing lights featuring a pattern of 55 red, white, and blue emergency vehicle lights. The truck also features a pull-out ramp for realistic loading and unloading of the Cruiser, which can be activated by pressing the quick release button. The Cruiser can even be seen through the clear window panels that show an illuminated cargo hold! The Cruiser is a white armored-response vehicle featuring green stripes, logos, and shining chrome parts such as the window louvers, front bumper, and the hubcaps. Featuring 19 switch activated emergency lights (in red, white, and blue), the Cruiser also includes two spotlights in a rotating roof mounted turret and a slide-out battering ram! The Cruiser also includes a pull-back mechanism to allow for its motor to propel it to action in any emergency response!
