Excellent quality and condition example of Sherrin's view of the Scottish Highlands with stag in the distance and light breaks through the cloud onto the moss and heather clad banks that rise up to the distant peaks of the highlands. Presented in its original frame.

Artist Biography
Daniel Sherrin was active from 1895 to 1922. His landscapes, such as Morning near Reigate Heath; Golden Autumn Days; Summer's Day, are sensitive depictions of the changing light and atmosphere, according to the time of day or season. Sherrin, also a painter of seascapes, was able to render detailed and informed renditions of ships, as in Three-master in High Wind; In Full Sail.
