These amazing floor cushions made from Moroccan handira wedding blankets are both exotic and glamorous and will be sure to add a splash of

About handira blankets: these blankets are actually capes worn by a berber bride on her wedding day. They are handmade by the family of the bride and can take many weeks to complete. They are considered good luck and are a symbol of fertility, fortune and protection from evil forces.

Made out of local wool and cotton they traditionally have fluffy fringes running through them and are often adorned with hundreds of sequins, all attached by hand.

This cushion will be supplied unstuffed and has a zip fitted on one side to allow for filling.
