This is a stunning and extremely elaborate dresser with a built-in secretary desk and a beautiful etched glass mirror on top. The bronze mounts are absolutely incredibly well defined and cast in gold gilt dor'e finish, not just natural bronze. The brass inlay is done over tortoise shell and the white marble top is in good condition as is the rest of the piece with no major issues at all. There is a matching commode, nightstand, armoire and even a bed- all listed separately. These are masterpieces made in Paris by Lexier. The dresser measures 74.5 tall x 52 wide x 19.75 deep and dates to the 1870s.
