Gurus DoubleDecker MK II Double MIAB Drive Effect Pedal

Specifications

It was a hard work to design an innovative pedal that sounds like a true saturated amp. Gurus used a different approach to other circuits that imitate Marshall sound, starting from a high-voltage lamp preamp (150-300 Volts) combined with their secret op amplifier to refine the sound. Rich harmonic content, dynamics and touch response, velocity and rich detail are typical features of a bulb amp. 2 different clipping sections have been added to refine the sound when the 2 channels are used as 2 independent pedals, in tribute to Jose Arredondo known for his amp modifications. The 2 channels used together sound very well without clipping, but these 2 sections on each channel further increase the possibilities. The Floor 1 channel has Schottky diodes in asymmetric configuration that make this channel very suitable for soft overdrives and perfectly reproduces the behaviour of an amplifier at the edge of the saturation. Floor 2 channel has LED diodes in symmetrical configuration for a softer, more complex and compressed lead sound. The double connections allow you to use it as a standard pedal with 1 input and 1 output, or as 2 separate pedals that can be reversed to the order. 150/300 Volt High Voltage Lamp Pre-amp 2 independent channels that can be used simultaneously. Tone and presence settings 2 separate footswitches. True bypass relay. "Jose" clipping mode on each channel. 4 inputs/outputs. Up to 10 different sounds. Compact size: 13 x 9 cm. Settings [gain, volume, presence, tone, norm switch. Jose]
