DESCRIPTION.

This is a beautiful example of the classic Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date-just wristwatch produced in 1973. The stainless steel and gold case is in good condition for its age with light age related marks. The beautiful original black dial has been restored to the highest possible standard and looks simply stunning. It has raised gold batons and Rolex crown logo at 12 o'clock it has a timeless, classic look.  This model is the Ref. 1601 from 1973. The super high grade caliber 1570 automatic movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.

To complete this fantastic piece, it comes on a super high quality lizard strap.

CASE.

The stainless-steel case is in good condition with light age related marks. The case measures 36mm across without the gold Rolex oyster screw-down crown crown. Inside the case back all the marks are correct as expected.

DIAL.

The beautiful original and unrestored black dial has raised steel batons and steel hands.

The dial is signed: Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date-Just, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified, T Swiss Made T.

MOVEMENT.

The very high grade calibre 1570 automatic movement is in very good condition and has been fully serviced. The calibre 1570 movement is considered accurate, reliable and strong.

The movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
