A lovely antique English Albert pocket watch sterling silver fob chain with graduating links, a T-bar and a swivel clasp / dog catch.

Attached is a nice antique sterling silver shield medallion with three lion motif coat of arms and a genuine King George V 1916 silver coin.

It weighs approx. 34.4 grams.

Wearable length of this beautiful antique chain is approx. 13.75" from the end of the swivel to the top ring of the medallion. The medallion is approx. 1.4" long without the top ring. The widest part of the chain is approx. 6.5mm.

Hallmarks: English, Birmingham. The swivel catch is marked "H...", most likely for Herbet Bushell & Son, from 1913 (according to previous owner). The T-bar is marked "WJS". There are lion passant silver stamps on all of the chain links. The "School Edmonton Board" medallion is dated 1900 and stamps look like "V&S" for Vaughton (founded in 1819). Engraving on the back looks like "Lilian Green 1901" which could be removed.

This antique chain fits a lady's or teenager's small neck. It will look great to wear alone or stacked with other chains. It also works as a double bracelet with the coin and medallion dangling as charms. A conversation and statement piece with history. The coin and medallion certainly can be easily removed by your jeweler.
