 COMMENTS:   CAUTION : EBAY is suddenly loaded with various pieces of fake beadwork as well as reproductions. Knife cases appear to be the most involved at the moment. You can often tell by the ridiculously low prices asked as well as the fact that the same person has many similar pieces for sale..real ones are hard to come by. Many of these are also coming out of Europe, Indian, and Pakistan.
This piece is a real one and is sinew beaded and sewn with  various greasy beads including LOTS OF GREASY GREENS AND ROSE WHITE HEARTS. THE BACK OF THE MAIN PORTION MAY? BE BUFFALO HIDE OTHERWISE ANOTHER HEAVIER HIDE SUCH AS ELK  ( WAPITI )All sewn and beaded with sinew this one is a nice one and it has NO RESERVE !
