A classic Jotul wood stove (wood burner) model 602 N featuring a hotplate for cooking or for just keeping your tea or coffee hot on a cold day.

This model features choice of rear or top flue connection for ease of placement.  Accepts logs on the longer side which helps with storage if you cut and season your own fuel.

This particular stove came with our house and was in use up until last year when the back casting split.  We were very fond of it but decided to replace it with a new version of the same model as we didn't have the bandwidth to repair it at the time. The design is very attractive when viewed from the side, which can't be said for most modern stoves.  It has been stored in an outbuilding for the last year so it is showing signs of discolouration on outside (easily restored).

I have no experience of servicing these so there may be other issues with it in addition to the back casting. However, it's a fairly simple beast and replacement parts are readily available on eBay (including a new back casting for ca £100) plus there are videos online showing how to restore them, so it could be a very inexpensive route to owning a classic wood stove.

Collection only due to the weight.
