This is a vintage 1966 Fender Precision Bass with a Sunburst finish. This is such a good one. Its finish checking and wear gives it some real mojo and it is also incredibly lightweight, coming in at just 8 lbs, 8 oz (with its covers on!). At some point, its owner had mounted a Rickenbacker pickup near its bridge (without routing), leaving behind some screw holes and a plugged hole in its pickguard where its on/off switch lived. Its volume pot is changed, but the rest of its electronics and hardware are original. Its neck is super comfortable and easy to play, and wow, we can't get over its weight!
It comes with its original hard shell case, which has rusted hardware and one damaged latch, but works fine.
It has been professionally set up and ready to thump!
