To clean an airbrush, you'll need to follow these steps:
- Remove the paint cup from the airbrush by loosening the retaining ring or pressing the release button.
- Remove the nozzle by turning it counterclockwise or pressing a release button.
- Rinse the nozzle and paint cup with water to remove any excess paint.
- Fill a small cup or bowl with a cleaning solution designed explicitly for airbrushes. You can purchase this at an art supply store or online.
- Dip a soft, lint-free cloth or a brush into the cleaning solution, then use it to scrub the nozzle and paint cup.
- Rinse the nozzle and paint cup with water again to remove any remaining cleaning solution.
- Dry the nozzle and paint cup thoroughly before reassembling the airbrush.
