New and original design to honor the service of the Navy P-2 aircraft. Entered the fleet in 1947 and served for 37 years in navy patrol squadrons until retirement in 1984. The P-2 has a unique engine arrangement with two propellers being driven by two radial (18 cylinders each) 3350 cubic inch engines and two J-34 jet engines. The P-2 performed diverse missions and continues service in firefighting and ASW roles in other countries. This patch has been produced to represent an era of naval aviation and is devoted to those that flew and maintained the P-2 Neptune by Lockheed Aircraft Corp.

Patches are rated as 75% embroidery as are many of the newly manufactured patches being offered on eBay and elsewhere. This P-2 patch will be a display that will memorialized your time in the P-2 which is long gone but the adventures remain in our memories.
