You are looking at a Louis Marx Pacific Fruit Express refrigerator car in the 3/16" scale. It is really hard to find this car not covered in scratches for some reason--guess kids loved the PFE back then!

This one has scratches but it still looks pretty strong for the PFE series. Look at how nice the scale trucks are. Overall, depsite the scratches and letter rub, this car is stronger and ncier looking than most of these you see.

This is a Louis Marx Pacific Fruit Express Southern Pacific reefer.  This is one of the more collectible Marx cars. It has been played with, as you can see. The most obvious condition issues with the car are the numerous surface rubs and scratches.

CONDITION: C-6. Has playwear in the form of scratches and oxidation. Some letter rub on a few letters from handling on one side. Some oxidaiton. Trucks look nice. Please look at all pictures which are part of the description.

This is not one of the Marx cars you see every day. And they look great the more you have, all in a line.

Terms of Sale

We do accept returns within 30 days. Unless there was an error on our end, return shipping is paid by the buyer and the price of the item is refunded upon receipt of iback at Lone Star Trains. If we made a mistake, we pay the return shipping. Items must be in the same condition as when we shipped. We cannot accept returns on orders that were shipped new and then opened. If there is a problem, such as an error in description or condition, we accept returns within 30 days.
