A stunningly detailed rare cast copper Victorian Neoclassical plaque after Léonard Morel-Ladeuil that seldomly come up for sale.

 The image depicting a Greek Mythological scene of Perseus rescuing Andromeda from the Kracken.

Signed Morel-Ladeuil 1879 and Elkington.

Beautiful old quality made with a good weight of 0.861 kilos unwrapped.

The plaque is in very good condition with superb patina and totally original.

Has minor rubbing,tarnishing etc.

....All nothing major,but noted.

This plaque overall measures a 14.25"/ 36cms diameter.

Has some minor wear and tear commensurate with age and use.
