Product function:

1. Power-on function: when power on, no matter the throttle rocker is in any position, it will not start the motor immediately to avoid causing personal injury;

2. Throttle stroke calibration function: to adapt to the differences in the throttle stroke of different remote controls, the linearity of the throttle response, with a smooth, delicate feel of the speed control speed control linear;


Programme setting items:

Brake setting: without brake/with brake, factory default is no brake.

Battery type: Li-xx (lithium battery) / Ni-xx (nickel cadmium or nickel metal hydride), the default value is Li-xx (lithium battery).

Low Voltage Protection Mode: Reduce Power / Switch off Output, default value is Reduce Power.

Low Voltage Protection Threshold: Low/Medium/High, the default value is Medium cut-off voltage.

When Li-xx batteries are used, the number of Li-ion batteries will be judged automatically, and the cut-off voltage of each battery in low/medium/high case is 2.6V, 2.85V and 3.1V respectively.

When set to use Ni-xx batteries, the ESC automatically detects the voltage of the battery pack when powering up, the cut-off voltage for low/medium/high case is 0%, 45%, 60% of the input voltage at power-on (0% means no low voltage protection).

Start mode: normal/soft/ultra soft start, default value is normal start.

Normal start is suitable for fixed wing, it can start the motor within 0.2 seconds.

Soft start/Ultra soft start is suitable for helicopter; the initial speed of soft start and ultra soft start are relatively low, it takes 1 second and 2 seconds respectively from start to full speed, but if you close the throttle after start, 

the motor will be started again in normal mode in 3 seconds, so as to avoid the aircraft falling down due to the slow reaction when doing some aerobatic manoeuvres.

Approach angle: low/medium/high, default value is medium approach angle.

Generally speaking, low approach angle can adapt to more motors, but in order to improve the efficiency, it is recommended to use low approach angle for 2 motors, and use medium approach angle for more than 6 motors. 

For RPM, the feed angle can be set to high feed angle. After changing the feed angle setting, it should be tested on the ground before flying.

Restore Factory Defaults

 

Protection Function:

Under-voltage protection: set by user through the programme;

Over-voltage protection: Input voltage exceeding 18 volts will not start, automatic protection, and at the same time emit a sharp "beep" alarm sound;

Overheating protection: built-in temperature detection circuit, MOS tube temperature is too high when the ESC automatically shut down;

Remote control signal loss protection: the remote control signal is lost for 1 second to reduce the power, and then no remote control signal for 2 seconds to shut down the output;


Process features:

2 output MOSFET power tube is equipped with an independent heat sink, reducing device temperature rise, the system's ability to work with high current;

Setting method:

1, open the transmitter, push the throttle to zui high (FUTABA series transmitter need to throttle channel selection REV use).

2, connect the receiver, motor.

3, turn on the ESC power, the transmitter is normal, there is the following sound: (If the sound after the end of a long "tick" sound after the sound, then check the transmitter throttle channel reverse settings.)

B B indicates LIPO auto protection

BB BB Indicates NIMH /NICD auto-protection.

BBB BBB indicates brake selection

(When there is no operation, all sounds will continue to loop continuously until an operation is requested.)

When you hear the first syllable of the sound, (e.g., if you select LIPO auto-protection and hear a "B", pull the throttle to the lowest position), pull the throttle to the lowest position. At the same time, the motor will emit a sharp sound to confirm.

At this time, if you have another setting, push the throttle to zui, then you can select the next option.

If the setting is complete, wait 2 seconds for the motor to make the appropriate battery protection confirmation sound again and confirm the throttle position before using it.

LIPO automatic protection has only two protection voltage protection points, namely 6V and 9V, and the battery can be used unnecessarily with a fully charged battery.

NIMH auto protection is based on the actual number of batteries, each battery is set to 0.8V, in order to accurately determine the voltage of the battery , please fill the battery. 

If the battery is not fully charged, the ESC will estimate the protection voltage according to 70% of the voltage. (This function can also be used when using 4LIPO)


Brake:

The factory setting is none. It is possible to set the brake once during actual use, so that the motor will use the reverse electromotive force to apply the brake after closing the throttle.

If you want to disable the brake function, you can set the brake operation again, and the function will be cancelled.

Factory parameter reset function, because this series ESC has overheat and misoperation protection function, if you find that your ESC acceleration, or steering, 

or throttle curve and any other characteristics of the new time and how to change, then you can do a factory parameter setting, in order to get the zui high performance again.

The power on is a long sound of B, which means the ESC is in LIPO auto-protection state, and three sounds of BBB, which means NIMH /NICD auto-protection state.

 

Use common sense:

Pick up the ESC directly mounted on the aircraft, the result is to hear a ticking sound, the motor just does not turn, or the speed does not go, the reasons are as follows:

The first use of electrical modulation should identify the maximum stroke and minimum stroke of the remote control, The method is as follows:--------electrical modulation connected to a motorised electrically-controlled line connected to a receiver----- open the remote control and push the throttle lever to zui high-------electrical plug into the battery turn... ------Listen voice - music (123) -----click (throttle zui high confirmation) - 

2 after the throttle to zui low-----to hear Beep three ----- (throttle the lowest confirmation tone, 2S two, 3S three) ----- OK

The three lines of brushless electric modulation can be connected randomly, if the turn is wrong, the switch of two lines can be done.
