Super bass modded to super lead with post phase inverter master volume (PPIMV) by trace at voodoo amps, no extra holes drilled as the volume went in a forth speaker output, was retubed, recapped, and is in perfect shape for more decades of music. Sounds great both live and in studio, but I don’t give this amp the love it deserves anymore playing country music in Texas. I formerly

played in tribute bands including Led Zeppelin, Boston, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Bob Seger, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Eric Clapton, and Journey, and this amp’s tone is beautiful at any volume thanks to the reversible master volume mod. I’ve owned a lot of vintage gear and sold almost everything off except this amp because it is a lifer, a keeper, the one, the Wholey grail of amps, the tone you spend your life trying to make, is in this amp, with a Gibson les Paul, or a fender strat, or any other guitar, this amp will do EVH, Metallica, Guns and Roses and other harder varieties because it’s EQ is so much more useful than Marshall’s of this era normally are, it does Led Zeppelin, Randy Rhodes, and AC/DC perfect with just enough sizzle without sounding like a modern fizzy distortion, it has enough smoothness and clarity to do Shred and enough punch to get those classic riffs to sound right. In terms of tone, this is the amp of your dreams! It has a grounded cable which may or may not be original, a little bit of wear in the skin, piping, and logo, but Every amp from the early seventies has slight signs of road wear, the most important thing is this one is functionally perfect. This is an iconic setup that will appreciate in value for both players and collectors! I’ve owned this amp for a long time and enjoyed it tremendously, but now it’s time for someone else to achieve the tone they’ve always dreamed of…
