This card was the top-of-the-line "flagship" GeoVision model prior to 64-bit windows. It is still a fantastic card even by today's standards, but it must be paired with an older operating system and older GeoVision software. GeoVision never offered updated drivers or support for modern 64-bit PCs.
I currently have two standalone XP desktops that I obtained cheaply and am running 4 of these GV-2008 cards for my security cameras. The system is simple, easy to use, and in my opinion equal to or superior to many of the latest video capture card setups.
This is a hybrid Video / Audio capture card for video surveillance systems. This PCI card offers support for up to 8 IP cameras. It features MPEG4 hardware compression and 240fps/240fps display/record framerate. The cables (see photos) are included. This card originally retailed for between $1,000 and $1,400.
This was removed from a working system with very low use. It has been fully tested and checked by our technician, and is in excellent condition. Software will be included, either the original CD or a copy, depending on availability.
