This is the original issue gatefold press sheet poster acquired from the Tokyo Shinjuku Plaza Theater in Japan
when PATTON was released ©1970 20th Century Fox.

It
is beautiful and quiet rare.

The press sheet was made available during the venue in the theater,
at the time of the initial Japanese screening several years ago,  and now extremely difficult to obtain.

Please look closely at the photos as it shows the exact press sheet you are buying.

It is not restored, it is not cropped and it is not a stock image -
you are receiving the exact press sheet that was available in the Japanese theaters.

This is an insanely rare Japanese gatefold press sheet poster from 1970 for the American epic biographical war film, PATTON.

It is a must-have for any movie memorabilia collector and a perfect addition to any entertainment memorabilia collection.

B5 CHIRASI

Our B5 Chirashi posters are almost always in Excellent or Near Mint condition.
Where this is not the case, please see the listing for further details.
Due to the fact that Chirashi are generally preserved in excellent condition,
the grading scale is more strict than that usually employed for larger posters.

Note:
If you are buying chirashi for framing then you need not worry too much about our grading,
as all of our posters have no significant defects that would be noticeable when framed.
Our grading is, for the most part, chiefly for collectors who are fanatical about condition.

Grade

Description

Mint

Brand new, unused, flawless. *We don't grade any of our chirashi as Mint, as we only sell original and authentic theatre-used chirashi. By this very definition, they are 'used' and therefore cannot be Mint.

Near Mint

Our top grade. No visible flaws, but may show very minor signs of age, such as soft corners.

Excellent/Near Mint

Not quite "Near Mint", but close to it.

Excellent

No major flaws that detract from the poster, but may have some of the following: tiny or light corner crease, compression indentations from storage, possible minor tear boarder only, age discoloration. Most collectors would be happy with this grade.

Very Good/Excellent

No major flaws but has a number of minor imperfections.

Very Good

Has a visible defect such as a crease, or an accumulation of minor defects. Details of imperfections will be listed. This grade is still more than suitable for framing - but collectors that are fanatical about condition should wait for a better copy to come available. (Bear in mind that we reluctantly stock posters in this grade, and only when it is the best available.)

Unacceptable

Chirashi that show one or more readily visible flaws such as large creases, rips, tape marks, or hole punches. We do not sell chirashi in this grade.
