Introduced in May of 1994- Retired in December 1994
7 months of production. 10 year Anniversary piece of the introduction of Dickens Village in 1984
'Postern' is a Dickens' period word that means the back gate.
This piece have been in storage for at least 10 years. Has been moved several times.
Special event colored boxes show storage wear. The Piece and Styrofoam is Mint.
Veterans non-profit of Lake Havasu were donated over 20k pieces by a huge Department 56 business who thrived in our area for over 30 years. Our gracious donors purchased New and Vintage overstocked pieces directly from Department 56 and from several different vendors, so there may be a tag on the sleeve. 
Since these pieces have been in our donors warehouse and then in ours for another 8+ years, I open and inspect every piece. During certain years/production lines, Department 56 factory plastic was sub-par/disintegrated. If there is the slightest question on plastic integrity I re-wrap with High Quality U-line plastic.

     We store & distribute ’Stand Down’ camping equipment, clothing and supplies that are purely set aside for our homeless heroes. 
     For Veteran families in need we supply clothing, furniture, kitchen items and just about anything else we have on hand.
     We donate dollars to local non-profit food banks.
     Vehicles, motor homes, campers & 5th wheels donated- when we can afford, we repair and donate to a Veteran in need of transportation or housing.
