Mofusand plushies are amazing.  I just discovered them recently when I was perusing the new Hello Kitty 50th anniversary merchandise.  These are not anniversary but they are so drop dead adorable.

Have you ever seen the videos on Twitter (OK that stupid X name) with cats from Japan that have little smushy faces with the big round eyes?  They are so cute and this company seems to have captured that awwww gee feeling in their plushies.

Let me sidetrack for a moment by saying there are a lot of fakes out there including on eBay.  If you see one of these new for $10 it's not authentic.  If you see these for the price I am selling from a USA seller, ask for pictures of the paper tag.  Genuine will be attached at base and will have a square red Sanrio sticker on the back.  The fakes do not have that sticker and on some styles they are attached in the wrong place too.  But for this collection, it should be at the base.

And all the cloth tush tags in this collection have a tiny picture of the character they are attached to.  So Hello Kitty has a tiny Hello Kitty on the cloth tag.  I'm not sure if the fakes have that or not but if it isn't there, it's another indication of a fake.

So even if a USA seller is an honest person they might have bought thinking they were getting a bargain that they could resell but also thought it was the real deal.  Be cautious.

In my case, these came from Japan and they all have the little square red sticker on the back of the paper / cardboard tag.

This is the collection of smaller plushies that all have something to tie them into the Sanrio character.  There is a more detailed larger group but this is the small.  To be honest I purchased 2 sets - partly to make sure at least one was going to be genuine (both sets were). I decided to sell one of the sets individually.

I am using these as Christmas ornaments.  They have the hanger so why not?  And they are totally adorable so doubly why not?  They call these mascots I think because they do hang on a purse or belt or something.  Not totally sure but the plushies without a hanger are not called mascots.

This listing is for Hangyodon.  The ginger Mofusand cat has a full body suit with gills to make him look like the fish. Even the eyes are on the top.  Of all the 4" plushies this one is the most detailed.  HOEWEVER the blue in the photos is a slightly off.  It has a bit more turquoise in the blue.  

Brand new and never displayed.  New with tags.  Authentic.
