First letter from Jeremiah Dillenback, dated 6 Dec. 1863 at Boston, reads, “…We are at present in great agitation respecting the coming Draft. We do sincerely wish the Rebellion was put down and peace once more restored…There were four funerals in Woodland in one week…” Letter runs 2pp. Second letter from family members to soldier ''Orlando''. Third letter dated 25 November 1866. All letters run approximately 5'' x 8'' and feature clear script on bright sheets. Good condition.
